In a testament to our commitment to excellence, we are proud to announce the successful completion of multiple projects at United Kingdom House, showcasing our expertise in air conditioning and ventilation solutions.

United Kingdom House, located at 164–182 Oxford Street, London, is a Grade II listed building originally designed in 1905–1906 by architect Frank Atkinson with input from Richard Norman Shaw. Once home to Waring and Gillow's department store, it now houses retail and office spaces, blending historic charm with modern functionality.

Over the past few years, we have undertaken a variety of projects within UK House, ranging from CAT A and B office space conversions to intricate system upgrades. Our focus has always been on ensuring a comfortable and efficient working environment for both landlords and tenants.

Recently, we completed the challenging task of transitioning from rooftop air-sourced systems to internally located water-cooled solutions across four floors. Despite the complexities involved, our team prioritised tenant comfort, minimising disruptions throughout the process.

One of our noteworthy achievements includes the design and installation of a ventilation system in the basement, overcoming numerous space constraints and coordination challenges with other services such as fire systems and electrics. This project also involved the implementation of a complex cold smoke extract system with fire-rated ductwork.

During the course of working at UK House, we have faced various design hurdles, prompting us to provide innovative solutions and value engineering options to streamline operations and minimise disruptions.
