Adcock’s First CO₂ Project Wins Refrigeration Project of the Year

We’re proud to share that, alongside FridgeHUB, Adcock has won Refrigeration Project of the Year at the National ACT and Heat Pump Awards 2025, for our work with Wilkin & Sons.

The award-winning project, aimed at future-proofing Wilkin & Sons refrigeration system, was the first CO2-based project for Adcock.

Our team handled everything from design to installation and commissioning, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. The project included:

- Installing two low-temperature booster packaged units, each connected to high-level evaporators in the cold store.

- Integrating a bespoke control panel system for real-time monitoring and performance management.

- Adding a refrigerant leak detection system, linked to an alarm for enhanced safety.

- Commissioning and testing the full system to ensure efficiency and compliance with our client’s specifications.
