Adcock has recently completed a replacement refrigeration system project for a long standing client Munro Building Services Ltd.
We were asked to supply and install a refrigeration system for wine store at one of the University of Cambridge campuses, based on a Hoare Lea specification. Their existing system was coming towards the end of its life and a new solution was required. The system we designed has one bespoke inverter driven water cooled condensing unit which serves three evaporators, all controlled by a bespoke control panel. This control panel controls each of the three evaporators independently and controls the temperature in each of the three 'zones' of the store. Being an old building, the wine store was not a uniform shape or size, but being a bespoke refrigeration specialist we were able to call upon our many years of experience to find the right solution.
We chose an inverter driven water cooled condensing unit manufactured by Robert C Scutt, and selected to operate on a low GWP refrigerant R513a. The evaporators were manufactured by Roller and the bespoke control panel by Frostechnic with Dixell electronic controllers. All line components were manufactured by Danfoss.
Bespoke refrigeration solutions are regularly designed, installed and commissioned by Adcock. We have highly skilled engineers capable of carrying out works to the highest standards and are supported by a supply chain who we can rely upon to manufacture quality refrigeration systems.
