We are pleased to share the successful completion of our recent project at Eldon Chambers, located in the heart of London at Fleet Street.
At Adcock, we take pride in overcoming challenges, and Eldon Chambers presented us with a unique set of circumstances. A seven-story building with restricted access for equipment and deliveries, this project demanded meticulous planning and execution.
Undertaken towards the end of last year during the main court holiday period, we ensured minimal disruption to the occupants of Falcon Chambers. This strategic timing allowed us to carry out our work efficiently while most Barristers were away from their offices.
Our scope of work included the decommissioning and removal of the existing Tononforty water chiller, along with 46 FCUs spread across the seven floors. In its place, we installed six Mitsubishi Electric VRF Heat Recovery systems complete with six CMBs, 36 FCUs, and an AE200 Central control system. Additionally, we handled all necessary electrical and ductwork modifications, coordinating a seamless crane lift operation with our trusted subcontractors.
As part of our commitment to comprehensive service, we also undertook the replacement of the building's boiler and hot water cylinder, responding to variations requested by the owners, the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers. Throughout this project, we operated under the guidance of property management company Spring4, ensuring alignment with our client's objectives.
