Adcock are proud to have completed an installation project and started a maintenance contract for Derventio House Trust based in Derby. Derventio Housing Trust are a not-for-profit community interest company which support people who have recent experience of homelessness to provide a place they can call home. They also work hard to prevent homelessness in the first place.
Derventio contacted Adcock when other air conditioning companies in the area were unavailable. Adcock were asked to supply and install 5 air conditioning units into their first floor office area. Because Derventio operate out of a converted chapel the engineers had to be sympathetic to the installation to the interior and exterior of the building to not make the units stand out.
The engineers completed the install to a very high standard and hid the cables and pipework inside and the outside units are installed at low level so anyone passing by wouldn't notice they were there. From the initial enquiry to completion to completion the project took 5 weeks.
Building Manager, Stephen Phillips said "I would like to say thank you to both Chris and Ben for making the whole installation process painless. Very different to when we have new boilers fitted and their engineers only had to work in the cellar!"
Following on from the installation Adcock now have a maintenance contract in place for the installed units and an additional unit in the server room.
