Adcock Tutor wins the 2013 City & Guilds Medal For Excellence in Construction Tutoring

Adcock Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd would like to offer their congratulations to Mr Jeff Yarborough of Coolink Technical Training Ltd for winning the City & Guilds Medal For Excellence within the Construction Tutoring Category.

As the UK’s leading vocational education organisation, City & Guilds wants to inspire people to believe in themselves and unlock their potential. They believe learning has no limits, and that’s why it’s important to celebrate outstanding achievements.

City & Guilds' Medals for Excellence is a global programme that has been running for over 100 years. It recognises the achievements of their learners and lecturer/trainers in the UK and internationally who produce exceptional work, or overcome the odds to achieve their goals. This culminates in the Lion Awards – City & Guilds most prestigious awards ceremony – which acknowledges the best of the best. This year’s Lion Awards was celebrated at a glamorous red-carpet ceremony on Wednesday 5 June 2013 the Roundhouse in London.

Jeff was nominated for the Medal For Excellence by a work colleague, three of his students and two companies, one of which was Adcock Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd

Jeff and Adcock’s have worked closely together since 2005 when the Adcock in-house training academy was set up at our head office in Cambridge. This facility proved a great success and led to a decision to invest in a purpose built facility for the future on land at Kings Lynn.
